Terms & Disclaimer
These terms govern your use of the Sparky website (sparky.capital) and your decision to delegate FLR to infrastructure operated by Sparky Consulting GmbH ("Sparky", "we", "us"). By staking with Sparky or using this site, you acknowledge and accept the following.
1. Who we are
Sparky is an independent Flare Network infrastructure operator, operated by Sparky Consulting GmbH, a company registered in Zürich, Switzerland (commercial register no. [CHE-XXX.XXX.XXX]). We run a full validator, an FTSO data provider, and an FDC attestation provider on the Flare Mainnet.
2. Non-custodial staking
Delegation on the Flare Network is non-custodial. When you stake FLR to Sparky, your assets remain in your own wallet and under your own control at all times. We never take custody of, hold, control, or have access to your delegated funds or private keys. All delegation is performed by you directly through the Flare Portal or compatible wallet software.
Sparky does not manage assets on your behalf, does not operate a fund, and does not provide any collective investment, custody, or asset-management service.
3. No guarantees of performance or rewards
We operate our infrastructure with the goal of high availability and accurate data submission. However:
- Uptime figures shown on this site (including any "99.9%" reference) are historical and describe past performance since May 2026. They are not a warranty, promise, or guarantee of future availability.
- Staking rewards depend on factors outside our control, including Flare Network protocol parameters, validator performance, network conditions, total stake, and reward-distribution mechanics. We do not guarantee any particular reward, return, yield, or outcome.
- Validator infrastructure can experience downtime, errors, missed submissions, or other interruptions despite our best efforts.
4. Risks of staking
Staking and delegating FLR carry risk, including but not limited to: reduced or missed rewards, the effects of network downtime, smart-contract or protocol risk, changes to Flare Network rules or economics, slashing or penalty mechanisms where applicable, and the volatility of FLR itself. You are solely responsible for understanding these risks before delegating. Only stake what you can afford to lose.
5. Not financial, investment, or legal advice
Nothing on this site constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, or a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You should make your own decisions and seek independent professional advice where appropriate.
6. Fees
Sparky charges a staking fee (currently 15%) on validation rewards, as displayed on this site. We may change this fee; the current applicable fee is the one shown on-chain and on the validator details section of this site.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sparky Consulting GmbH and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any loss of funds, rewards, profits, or data, arising out of or in connection with: your use of this site; your decision to stake or delegate; any downtime, error, or interruption in our infrastructure; or any change to the Flare Network. You use this site and stake at your own risk.
8. Accuracy of information
We aim to keep information on this site accurate and current, but we make no warranty that it is complete, error-free, or up to date. On-chain data shown via the Flare Systems Explorer is the authoritative source for validator identity, fees, and performance.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Zürich, Switzerland shall have exclusive jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by applicable mandatory law.
